Raúl Blanco was born in Cuba.

He moved to the United States when he was 14 years old. He studied in the School of Visual Arts in NYC where he worked and participated in several exhibitions until the late 80's when he moved to Miami. 

He opened his own studio and dedicated to commercial photography and production, working alongside companies like Coca-Cola, Bacardi, Porsche among others. Inspired by contemporary artists like Jeff Koons and Andy Warhol, he now uses his experience with commercial photography to find a unique approach between art, industrialized ready-made objects, globalization and today's mass pop culture.
