Manuela Escobar was born in Medellin, Colombia on December 27, 1996. She came to America when she was 1 year old and grew up in Miami, Florida. Growing up in Miami she was always fascinated with the cultural diversity she witnessed in South Florida. She eventually went to the Academy of Arts and Minds High School in Coconut Grove and was exposed to so many different types of amazing arts from photography, film, theater, poetry, to music and dance. Manuela was interested in photography.

After graduation, her interest expanded into art & painting.  She would paint here and there and learn from local artist and just trying to find her style. Her main inspiration came from Wynwood and artists like Banksy, Shepard Fairey, and Yayoi Kusama. She loved exploring the different art forms by attending every Art Walk along the streets of Miami’s Art District. She was in love with the art scene as her interest in different styles started to take shape.

She eventually moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2018 to pursue her art career. She showcased her first art show in January of 2019 at The Purple Buffalo in downtown Charleston.  After several other exhibits in and around Charleston towards the end of 2019, she moved back to Miami.  She felts she wanted to continue her art here where it all started. She hopes to paint as much of the "Magic City“ and make the city a more colorful and happy place to be.
