Daniel De Roes was born in Santiago, Chile in the mid-70s. His childhood was filled with drawing and color. Admire surrealist, realistic painting and pop art. In his quest to know the world and discover new techniques linked to painting, he began a journey through seven countries in South America where he met several Latin American artists, making friends and painting with them. His passion for nature and travel led him to paint and study in Europe, where he received a postgraduate scholarship at the Foundation of Contemporary Art and Authors of Madrid. For De Roes, painting means connecting with something fantastic and inexplicable, the disorder intertwined with discipline on canvas or paper. His work connects the eclectic and the diaphanous, where the light wanders between past, present and future. The tangible and intangible ... or what we believe is the one and the other. His Art consists of continuous movement and evolution, the same that brings informative genetic patterns. The artist has made paintings and portraits in various countries such as Germany, England, France, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile, where he has obtained great recognition for his fantastic ability to create credibility. His ability to represent and mix complex objects and shapes invites us to reflect. His constant interest in learning and innovating in all facets of art, photography and cinema has led him to travel in many countries and corners of the world. It currently resides between Chile and Mexico.
